INVITATION: LAUNCH OF THE POACHING AND OTHER WILDLIFE CRIMES RESEARCH REPORT – REGISTER NOW
Zimbabwe’s efforts to conserve wildlife which include vulnerable, threatened and critically endangered species are threatened by organized criminal gangs. Consequently, Zimbabwe is experiencing rampant illegal trade in animals and animal products which are traded on international markets.
Recently CNRG conducted research on poaching and other wildlife crimes. The report details the transnational nature and political economy of poaching and other wildlife crimes in Zimbabwe and makes recommendations for policy, legal and institutional reforms to curb the scourge.
